Color can range from almost white to dark red. Males stand between 23-24 ", females 21-22 1/2 ". Their coat may be straight or wavy, moderate feathering on back of forelegs and on underbody; heavier feathering on front of neck, back of thighs and underside of tail. Feathering may be lighter than rest of coat.

Bite cases cannot be accepted. Mouthing is not considered biting.
We take in Goldens regardless of age or medical conditions (i.e. from puppies to senior dogs, dogs who require hip surgery, epilepsy treatment, allergies, etc.)
The only mix we accept are golden retriver/yellow lab mixes that look & act golden.

DESCRIBE HOUSING USED FOR RESCUES:
Dogs are housed inside in individual foster homes. All dogs are vetted, brought up to date on vaccines, spay/neutered and any medical needs tended to.

It is our policy that dogs who were strays not be adopted into a family with children under the age of 10
All dogs are microchipped
All dogs adopted from GRRoW must be returned to GRRoW if adoption circumstances change.
