Breed Description:

A weimaraner is a sleek, short-coated gray dog. It is a medium breed of 50-80 pounds and 22-27inches of height. It is a sporting dog and the frame resembles other pointer breeds. Dogs come in all shades of gray and also a blue color. There is a rare, recessive trait for long-haired weimaraners which the dog will have fine fringes of hair, but never an under-coat. The eyes are amber, blue or gray. Tails are generally docked.

All dogs are evaluated on an individual case basis. We do accept dogs with behavioral issues so long as we feel rehabilitation and/or trainig are an option and the dog could reasonably be re-homed.
