BREED: Chihuahuas and Chinese Crested Dogs
Breed Description:
Chihuahuas are a toy breed classified as 'apple heads' or 'deer style' dogs. They can weigh anywhere from 2-12 pounds, have compact bodies, big, round eyes that may bulge, upright ears and a pointed muzzle. The tail generally curls up and into the back section. Due to poor breeding practices it may be difficult to tell a purebred from a mix. We also set up our group to intake Chinese Crested Dogs and have worked with several over the years.
